In the past in the wet darkroom, I have used Illford Pearl B&W paper along with 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 contrast filters. I love what I get with that combo. Any suggestions about inkjet printer paper to get a truely great black and white print?

Just bought one and am VERY disappointed in its print quality. For an inkjet printer, my prints came out at a worse quality than a dot matrix one. I just don’t get it. Most of the reviews I’ve found listed it at 4 stars from Amazon and Walmart.com I was expecting GREAT prints. What are your thoughts?
